Welcome to the Rochester, NY IIBA Chapter 

The International Institute of Business Analysis is an independent non-profit professional association serving the growing field of Business Analysis and is for individuals working in a broad range of roles – business analysis, systems analysis, requirements analysis or management, project management, consulting, process improvement, and more. 

 

 


Chapter Objectives

The Rochester, NY Chapter of the IIBA will provide local members and those who are interested in becoming members, the following:

  •  Opportunity to learn more about the IIBA and Certification Programs 
  •  Ability to network with your peers
  •  Information on how you can influence and contribute to the BA profession
  •  Opportunity to learn and share best practice
  •  Establish and build relationships with other professional organizations

Our Chapter currently hosts a monthly meeting which provides opportunities for networking, as well as learning opportunities.  The Calendar of Events page highlights our upcoming meetings and social events.  Our meetings are open to the public, so you can check us out prior to joining!

Join the IIBA Rochester NY CPAB(r) Study Group!
  • Location: New Horizons Computer Learning Center, 50 Methodist Hill Dr #50, Henrietta NY.
  • Day/Time: Weekly (Tuesdays) 6:00-7:30p
  • Start Date: 12 Jan 2010

The Rochester Chapter of IIBA® is offering a Certified Business Analysis Professional CBAP®Study Group session in an effort to assist individuals interested in preparing for the CBAP certification exam!
CBAP study group sessions are open to both IIBA Rochester Chapter members and non-members, however if you are not a chapter member, there is a fee of $30.00 to register to participate in the study group. Becoming a local Rochester Chapter member will provide with you many benefits including a cost savings for participation in these sessions.
 
The first session of the IIBA Rochester CBAP study group is scheduled to begin next Tuesday, January 12th,  6:00 - 7:30PM at New Horizons Computer Learning Center.  New Horizons Computer Learning Center is located in Henrietta at 50 Methodist Hill Drive, Suite 50 - (585) 427-2150
 
Non-CBAP participants can earn up to 21 Professional Development Units (PDU's) for participating in the study group.  CBAP participants (especially facilitators) who engage in the study group, can earn Continuing Development Units (CDU's) and should check with the International IIBA Certification Committee for information on maximum allowed credit.
 
If you missed the Study Group Orientation meeting held on December 8th, you may access it online through the SlideShare site.  This document describes the study group objectives, logistics (duration, time, location), proposed topic schedule and participant expectations.
 
An online user group is being developed for this study group and access information will be provided at the first session.
